A Prayer for World Suicide Prevention Day

September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day, Medicine Hat Catholic Schools pray for peace and comfort for those who need it most.
Dear Lord,
On this day of international awareness for suicide, we pray for your strength to always make our schools a place of comfort and joy. Let us not just merely bring awareness, but work compassionately to foster confidence among our students and in our schools. Lord, grant peace to all those suffering in silence, give them faith and hope to reach out. Comfort those who mourn the loss of loved ones so they know they are not alone. Lord, help us as a school family to reach out in love to those who feel hopeless. Let Medicine Hat Catholic Schools always serve as a beacon of light and a source of faith, hope, and love in our community.
