Background on the Award: The Excellence in Catholic Education Award was established by the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta to communicate clearly the benefits of Catholic education and its value to society.  This prestigious award recognizes Catholic teachers in Alberta who have done an exemplary job in preparing our youth to grow into outstanding citizens.  In our District, a recipient is awarded annually.  A committee is established composed of a Teacher, a Trustee, a Parent, an Administrator, and a Member of the Parish Community to determine the winning recipient.  We extend our congratulations to each of this year’s nominees who are passionate about Catholic education, inspire their students, and are committed to fostering the well-being of youth.

Mrs. Rae will be recognized for her outstanding contribution to Catholic education at the March 8th, 2022 Catholic School Board Meeting at 4:30 p.m., the general public is welcome to attend.

Congratulations Kim!
