6th Annual Ski Swap - Oct 24th & 25th - Southridge YMCA

The Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) is conducting its SIXTH annual SKI SWAP in Medicine
Hat! It is the ONE DAY of the year where skiers and snowboarders can turn their old
equipment into cash and get some great bargains on new and used ski and snowboard
equipment.

• Equipment Registration: Friday, October 24 th 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Sale: Saturday, October 25 th 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Location: South Ridge YMCA Medicine Hat

The public can consign their used equipment in the SWAP and the Ski Patrol will sell it
for them for a commission. The SKI SWAP is a great way for skiers and snowboarders
to "recycle" equipment they may have outgrown.

Then, for the best deals on new and used equipment in town, visit the SKI SWAP on
Saturday. There is a wide selection of skis, boots, poles for downhill and cross country
skiers as well as snowboards and other skiing supplies and equipment.

The Canadian Ski Patrol is a nationally registered charity, comprised of highly-trained
volunteers, dedicated to promoting ski safety and providing first aid and rescue services
to skiers. Each year the volunteer members of the CSP provide their services to skiers
at areas all across Canada FREE OF CHARGE!

In Medicine Hat, our volunteers come to the aid of skiers at Hidden Valley Ski Area In
Elkwater Park. We are also involved in several non-skiing events around the community
including the Conquer the Coulee Race, Conquer the Valley, the Mile High Triathalon,
Winter Festival in Elkwater and others.

This is a major fundraising event for our zone. Proceeds from the SWAP stay in the
community and go towards the purchase of first aid and rescue equipment as well as
the safety and education programs of the Canadian Ski Patrol in Palliser Zone.
