Superintendent Contract Approved

On November 12,  Dr. Dwayne Zarichny was unanimously reappointed by trustees as superintendent of the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education and will serve until 2030 with his new five-year term beginning Aug. 1 of next year.

Dr. Zarichny began his teaching career over 30 years ago and has been part of our MHCBE family since July 2019. During his time with us, he has had many accomplishments such as increasing enrollment, leading our school division through a pandemic and graduating with his Doctorate of Education from Western University in 2021. 

We thank him for his continued support and passion for Catholic education.
