PD Day Camps
The Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre is offering PD Day programming in partnership with the Hive Artists’ Hub Society. This fun filled day will begin with an engaging morning in the Esplanade Discovery Centre. An afternoon field trip to the Hive will allow students to learn from professional practicing artists. Students ages 5-11 will spend their day experimenting with various art materials and techniques while developing and refining their skills as young artists. They will also have the opportunity to think critically and stimulate their senses as they create, interpret, and express themselves visually. Both drop-off and pick-up will take place at the Esplanade’s Discovery Centre. Each Board-specific PD Day will have different content so students may enjoy coming back more than once!
The cost is $55 for 2019 dates and includes all materials. Some materials used in the classroom could stain clothing. Students should wear old clothes or bring an apron or paint shirt.
