We are pleased to share that Telus has enabled a program for families in need to get internet access in their homes. Telus Internet-for-Good program offers $9.95/month Internet to low-income families with speeds up to 25 MBPS and 300GB of data. Once families apply, this subsidized offer will be active for 24 months before it resets at regular in-market rates.
When families are approved, a unique activation code will be issued that can be used to set-up their home internet plan via TELUS customer care agents. Learn more about Telus Internet-for-Good Program at telus.com/internetforgood.
Am I eligible?
Your family is eligible if you have a household income of less than $31,120. Please submit your most recent Canada Child Benefit (CCB) statement showing your family net income of less than or equal to $31,120 to TELUS at InternetForGood@telus.com.
Internet-for-Good Student Access Reimbursement
As a school division, MHCBE understands the impact this pandemic has had on families. Once families register for the Internet-for-Good program, they can apply to be reimbursed the $9.95/month plus GST until the end of June 2020 for any parents who are deemed eligible.
