Emergency Protocols Guide
The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education, in partnership with our neighboring School Jurisdictions including Medicine Hat Public School District and Prairie Rose School Division have been working on a joint initiative using common language involving emergency protocols. A shared emergency protocol is now in place.
The use of this shared emergency protocol strategy supports our commitment to:
Student safety and well-being;
Clear, timely and accurate communication to staff, parents, students & our community including the media and the police service;
Providing a common understanding in responding to emergent issues;
Cooperating with neighboring school jurisdictions and providing a unified approach when dealing with and responding to emergencies.
