Our Preschools are faith-based supportive environments for children and parents; offering a safe and secure setting for children to develop independence, initiative, early literacy and to develop socially.
Preschool Programming is offered in English and French Immersion for children that are 3 years of age as of September 1, 2010. Community based and Designated ECS Special Education sites are offered for students with special needs. Preschool is a Fee for Service program calculated on attendance days per week $68.00 - $340.00 per month for half days. Preschool students are not eligible for transportation.

Child Development Check-Ups
Early Identification - is our key focus. Child Development Checkups are implemented annually in each of our elementary schools for children ages 2 1/2 to 5. Assessment occurs in the areas of speech/language, fine motor, gross motor, and social development and self-help skills.
ECS Special Eduation Programming - Teachers/Preschool Educators, Learning Assistants, Parents and our Primary Consultant work together as a team to offer services in over Twelve Preschool Programs throughout the city; including our Elementary Schools, to children requiring speech-language, occupational therapy and behavior intervention in a Pre-School setting.
