DIVISION HONOURED FOR A JOB WELL DONE

Medicine Hat and Bow Island Catholic Schools was one of eight school boards in Southern Alberta that received an award recognizing our leadership for outstanding work that contributes to student success. School boards are eligible to receive the Minister’s Education Leadership Recognition Awards (MELRA) if their annual results demonstrate significant improvement and/or very high achievement. Medicine Hat Catholic received 7 Awards and was recognized for the following:

Very High Achievement:
Program of Studies; High School Completion Rates; School Improvement; Fine Arts
Significant Improvement: Program of Studies; Citizenship; Fine Arts
